CRISIS OF CONFIDENCE

This project encapsulates a year’s worth of writing, recording, and visual creation. It was born from a conversation on my first day recording in Nashville. I walked into Cartoon Moon Studios in East Nashville, October 30th, 2024 to record three songs. Jim Reilley set this day up, to get “Tilt Up,” “Bless Your Little Heart” and “Eli and Ellie” recorded with Adam Ollendorff, Eric Fritsch, and Ken Coomer. In between takes, Ken and I started talking about my back story, getting back into music after such a long time away, and doing it in the most competitive town. I mentioned I was currently suffering from a crisis of confidence. In the moment we just looked at each other and knew. That’s a song. I went home, wrote it, brought it to the studio a month later, knowing it was going to be the title track for what would be my first full album.
